CiS Excellence Awards 2007
Thursday 10 May 2007, Hilton Glasgow
The 4th annual CIS Excellence Awards began with a champagne reception hosted by Glasgow City Council before the 450 guests began to fill the Grand Ballroom for the dinner and presentations.
Hosted once more by XFM Scotland DJ, Heather Suttie, and attended by the leading figures in the Scottish catering, hospitality and tourism industry, the ceremony was the culmination of three months of entries and nominations from private business and the public sector, in 12 award categories.
As well as rewarding the best talent that Scotland has to offer in the hospitality, catering and tourism industries, the Awards' charity raffle raised almost £5,000 for the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, HIT Scotland and the Scottish Culinary Team.
Catering in Scotland magazine and the Federation of Chefs Scotland would like to congratulate the winners on their achievements this year, and we'd also like to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who supported the CIS Excellence Awards, from the Advisory Board and nominees, to guests, winners and all our generous sponsors.
