The Macdonald Cardrona Hotel & Golf Course has announced redevelopment plans aiming to turn the hotel & golf course into a full-scale holiday resort which aims to create up to 100 jobs over the next three years.
The plans include the creation of holiday homes and vacation ownership properties which, according to the management, 'will be available for sale, rent or for fractional ownership.'
The property's leisure and spa facilities will also be extended with tennis courts, an equestrian centre and a children's play area.
Up to 50 bedrooms will be created within the hotel itself, while corporate visitors will benefit from a new conference suite and meeting rooms.
James Lerche, Managing Director of Macdonald Cardrona said: 'Initially we will create between 30 and 40 jobs within the hotel, which will increase to up to 100 across the development by 2014.'
