FSA Encourage UK High Street Chains to Offer Healthier Options
The Food Standards Agency announced today that some of the UK's biggest restaurant chains including PizzaExpress, Pizza Hut and Domino's, have agreed provide a range of healthier options on their menus.Some of the measures announced by the FSA involve salt-reduction, providing nutritional data for recipes, making children's menus healthier and working with suppliers to lower saturated fat in particular ingredients.
