Four Scottish Restaurants Awarded Michelin Stars
Charlie Lockley of Boath House Hotel in Auldearn was awarded a Michelin star yesterday, joining three other Scottish restaurants in the country's best ever showing in the Michelin guide.The Plumed Horse in Leith, The Albannach in the west Highlands and Sangster's in Elie all appear in the 2009 guide.
'There are 13 Michelin-starred restaurants in Scotland and only three have attained four AA Rosettes,' says Wendy Matheson, Proprietor of Boath House. 'This confirms that Charlie one of the country's top chefs.'
