Glasgow Listed Lonely Planet Top 10 Cities
Glasgow has been listed in The Lonely Planet's 'Top 10 Cities' section, the only UK destination to do so. Chosen on account of its 'exciting, contemporary image', the listing for Glasgow read as follows: 'Forget about castles, kilts, bagpipes and tartan; you come to Glasgow for the cocktails, cuisine and designer chic (plus the legendary native wit).'Meanwhile, The Ubiquitous Chip was the only restaurant venue mentioned in the review of the city.
