EDINBURGH OUTSCORES GLASGOW IN CUSTOMER-SERVICE SURVEY

Customer-service evaluation firm Retail Eyes has released results of its 2007 National Customer Satisfaction Survey. Revealing how various cities, towns and regions of the UK rank in terms of customer service, the survey is based on the results of 83,860 mystery shopping visits between 1st September 2006 and 31 August 2007. The data has shown that Edinburgh has better customer service than Glasgow, and ranks 36th in the country this year. Glasgow, however, comes in at 88.
Twickenham in England came out first, while Paisley was the only Scottish destination that made the Top 10.

Retail Eyes currently runs mystery shopping programmes for a wide variety of hospitality, leisure, travel, and high street retail companies, employing everyday people rather than professionals as shoppers.
